Stan Boardman and Suzanne Collins Get Ready for Celebrity Cook Off in Hanover Street Social

Legendary comedian Stan Boardman and actress Suzanne Collins will cook up a storm in the city’s new hotspot Hanover Street Social. Stan and Suzanne’s special chef training is in preparation for Alder Hey Imagine Appeal’s upcoming sold out event ‘Under Starters Orders’ on 11^th April. The night will launch the Appeal’s fundraising activities as the official charity of the John Smith’s Grand National.

The celebrity red and blue teams will turn up the heat and battle it out in the kitchen to raise money for the charity.

Red team captain Stan hopes to lead the reds to victory, he said: "I’m in it to win it and hope we can raise loads of money for Alder Hey!” Celebrities get ready for cook off

Blue team captain Suzanne added; "I’ve been in the kitchen for Under Starters Orders before and last time we were robbed! Stan’s going to have a competition on his hands! Come on you blues!”

Guests in the restaurant, which will include a few famous faces, will also be treated to cocktails made and served by racing glamorous duo Chanelle McCoy and Emma Spencer.
